(From Frankfurt)
Around 120 Kilometres away from Frankfurt lies the Frankfurt-Hahn Airport (HHN). When Ryanair started to incorporate Frankfurt-Hahn Airport (HHN) into their flight Plans, they requested to change the Name officially from Hahn Airport to Frankfurt-Hahn Airport. The German aerospace company “Lufthansa” has since then tried to appeal the name Change, citing false advertising. Nevertheless, Ryanair got to keep the name but must sight the distance to Frankfurt am Main in their advertising.
As an old airbase Frankfurt Hahn Airport is located away from any major settlements and faces connection issues because of it.
